Andrew H. Lippstone, Esq.
Andy Lippstone is an accomplished transactional and litigation attorney with more than 20 years of experience representing for-profit and non-profit companies, governments, and individuals. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Virginia School of Law, Andy began his legal career as a clerk for then-Vice Chancellor Leo E. Strine, Jr. of the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Prior to starting his own firm, Andy served as general counsel of a Texas healthcare company. Before that, he served as chief legal counsel to Delaware Gov. Jack A. Markell. In that capacity, Andy directed and oversaw all legal operations for the governor, managed outside counsel in various high-stakes litigation matters, drafted legislation and regulations, and advised the governor’s staff and cabinet regarding ethics and records retention laws. For his work in the public sector, Andy was awarded the Order of the First State, Delaware’s highest civilian honor.
Before joining the governor’s office, Andy was an attorney at Saul Ewing. Previously, he worked at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell as an associate in the firm’s the corporate litigation department.
Andy is committed to serving the public and the legal profession. He currently serves as the chair of the Health Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association, and he regularly provides pro bono legal services to non-profit organizations throughout the State of Delaware. While in Texas, Andy served as an adjunct professor of business law at St. Edward’s University.
Andy is licensed to practice law in Delaware and Texas.
